Well i'm currently going to download it at off peak time and its out now on Steam free download!

yey ftw :)

:) Downloading. Stoked.

Did you play the first one? It seems like a pretty cool concept/story but I never played it.

OMG, this game looks fantastic, although runs a bit slow on my system :/

I like the grappling hook and parachute. The sounds are amazing.

Sweet,

I'll check it out later - that game looked pretty cool when I saw a preview online.

Tech Report has the link too

Is it only 30 minutes worth of play time
Packed in all those bytes is a 35-square-mile open world through which players can grapple, parachute, and shoot to their heart's content, at least until the 30-minute time limit runs out. The demo's desert setting includes mountains, villages, military bases, and plenty of vehicles, and Avalanche Studios has prepared a nice cross-section of activities:

I think I am still going to get the game, I don't playing it without AA and supermegahyper resolution shadows option

XP not supported? That's hellagay. I guess it's time to start living in the present and get Windows 7.

Welcome to 2006 (when vista came out :P).

Honestly though, as great as XP was, it came out 9 years ago. Im glad developers are pushing to take advantage of newer technology. When vista sucked, I could understand it but now with windows 7 being just fine, theres no reason to continue creating software so that it can run off DX9.

Can anybody confirm the DEMO for me.

Is it a 30 minute demo - and it expires after 30 min of play

OR

Can you play as long as you like - but just with limited scenes / mission?

I don't buy " new " games b/c I'm a cheapo.. lol - but I'd like to play. But for 30 min - it's not worth my downloading and installing.

Thanks

Very true, plus I can't wait to get an ATI 5000 series card and take advantage of dx11.
