Just Got My 17'' LG LCD 16ms

This is great everything looks so much better...It looks more like a 19'' i guess thats how these work.. but yeah just got it in today.. just thought i would share with yall.. who else here has an LCD they use for gameing how do u guys like it?? get back peace
 
I prefer my CRT, I have a View Sonic Pf95 19", I used a LCD and disliked it when comparing to my CRT, found the contrast to missing, color was there but I sure could not get the 80FPS+ to run to the screen at once.
 
yeah i have a 17inch viewsonic crt too and i used that the most the lcd is in the living room and the lappy i bring all over. it is just like the tv the crt does black better than the rest.
 
I love playing HL2 with 80FPS :D, compared to the internet cafe at mission valley mall in san diego that goes to about 30-40FPS
 
My parents went all LCD on me (they like the cute and compactness of them), me im running 2xViewsonic+1Acert CRTs
 
I have all LCDs anymore. 17" 8ms on my main system, 15" on my old system(probably some really crappy responce time) and then a 12" laptop. I really don't like CRTs anymore. They really bother my eyes at any resolution. And size, don't even get my started! Because of how tall I am, I took the tray out from under my desk and just sat my keyboard on top of my desk. There's NO WAY I would of had room to do this with my old 17" CRT!

ha ha, ditto. I'm 6foot 5, and 230 pounds (not all of it fat) there is no room under any desk for me :D
 
a few weeks ago, picked up a hyundai imagequest 19in lcd 8ms ANTITHEFT monitor LOL

that feature is annoying so i turned it off.

It won't be better than a CRT,don't buy an LCD unless it's more cosmetic to your space or to keep up with the Jones's.
It's only better because it's newer.But costs a lot more,right ?
