Just Installed new 2tb hd now monitor will not work

I bought a 2tb SATA hard drive for my computer its a custom build with an asus crosshair 2 motherboard basicly it installed fine and i put on all my files after that i unplugged both hard drives both master and slave then reconnected them and now the computer will boot up there is power to my mouse and keyboard and power to the monitor but it will not show a display I then took the old monitor i had downstairs and used the onboard port not my graphics card i have 2 9800gt in it

any suggestions before i flip out haha i need this thing up and going

You may have knocked something loose or forgot to reattach a cable. Recheck everything.
