I decided to see what Vista was like and so I installed it on my computer and I am now dual booting between XP and Vista.
I really like Vista overall, the whole user interface seems leaps and bounds ahead of XP's. I'm not saying XP had a bad UI but Vista seems to have taken a more refreshed approach and it works!
They struck an amazing balance between form and functionality, it really doesn't take long to get used to at all, and if you have the hardware to run it that Aero setup is amazing, it seems a lot smoother opening and closing windows. The sidebar is also really neat, with all the gadgets you can add.
So far I am liking Vista better than XP. It seems that you can tailor it to suit yourself better, and I like the level of personalization.
I will still be using XP for games though.
