Just spent $811 @ Best buy , Deals on a Laptop , games and BR, what do you guys think

Returned this and got a whole lot more than I thought i would

Best buy has some great deals going onall those movies were $72 and the games were buy 2 get one free!

kinda bummed i bought crysis now I dont think this ones gonna do it justice .. My Dell from the first post that i returned ran a 16,138 3dmark06/

im gonna try this one now... lil worried

Most likely it is not going to run near as fast as that desktop no matter what the specs of the laptop. Can I ask why you bought at BB in the first place? Thats the worst place to buy from in my opinion.

i got a laptop there lil over 3 yrs ago with a warranty... it died on the last month of the warranty, and i got a "no lemon" deal in which they give me the equivalent computer today.. well instead of that i took an instore credit, and they gave me $1100 :eek:

i paid 1500 for it then, cuz i needed a good high end desktop replacemeent

dedicated 512 mb GPU, 160 HD intel core 2 duo 5500

twas good back then.. And as far as BB .. there getting better and cheaper.. the asus laptop they sell for under 1k with a p7450 and a gtx 260m with 4 gb ddr3 isnt a bad deal.. in my opinion at least

didnt need the dell tho.. i dont game, i just think i wanted to see what a powerful PC was like
 
If you got the laptop you linked to, you're not going to have much luck playing most anything. That GPU is pretty low end.

Apparently on high settings at 1024x768, that GPU managed 1FPS in Crysis :P

Lol yea it's pretty bad. I don't game at all tho ( on pc) so for just my daily laptop for movies music downloading and Internet it's great. Good CPU and memory. Anybody wanna buy crysis??? Played once :D
