Alright, I just built my new system, everything seems to be going fine, it powers on, the lights all come on, the fans are all running, the temperature gadge even works... when I boot it up it comes up to the screen hit delete key to enter the bios... but my keyboard isn't responding... I've tried plugging in a USB keyboard and one that has the purple port as well, it's not reading either of them... When i start the system up I get one beep, and than something like a croaking noise that just keeps repeating itself very fast... I have a CMOS restart button on there that I have tried using but that doesn't work either... does anyone know whats wrong?
 
do you have your cpu fan installed properly?
i am just asking, because i tried turning on my old sampron without a fan on it, and something funny happened.
usually usb keyboards cuse troubles...
 
Yes, I belive it is installed correctly, it didn't go in easy which I know is normal a lot of times, but as far as I know it is, I mean it runs when i turn the computer on so im assuming its fine
