Kaspersky or other?

Hello,

I have recently been looking for a new AntiVirus and Security program to replace McAfee, which I heard is probably the worst.

I saw that many people recommend Kaspersky, and I was wondering if the Internet Security 2009 package has everything that Anti-Virus 2009 has.

Also what is the next best alternative, and what is the best free program(s) to get? Do they work as well as Kaspersky?

Internet security 2009,its brilliant,i upgraded from AVG which for free is good but it was not getting rid of a trojan problem i kept getting and a network atack.

Kaspersky seems to have sorted it ;)
 
So Kapersky is the "best" out there, if willing to pay up :D

- I was reading about it and to first avoid keyloggers, they use a virtual keyboard - Is this basically the same as the On-Screen Keyboard Microsoft has? Would using that On-Screen Keyboard help protect passwords when checking online banking, PayPal, etc?

Any other Security configurations?

Such as what programs can be mixed to get best results, etc
 
Kaspersky is good I used is for about 2 years and i'm really glad i had it ... I switched to AVG now which seems to be good too... But many people now talk about BitDefender it has everything you need to protect your PC ... But the best free one for me is AVG ...Take a look at that i hope it helps you find the answers you need:

I use bit defender.

It is awesome. It updates every hour, it ask permission for all internet accessing devices or programs (there is a remember option) and it clears all viruses. The only problem is that it is on top of the Anti virus chain, and viruses are being made to penetrate bit defender more than any other software...

Yeah you are right about that...
 
BitDefender, NOD32 + Kaspersky are all the answers you wil get for the best.

KIS is basically including a Firewall, unlike KAV.

I see also many people use AVG too. ( I use it too lol ) but AVG is one of the best too...
 
i do like NOD32,Smart security is alot better though.

i think the new Bitdefender has a gaming mode now so you can set it to gaming mode while you game and it hardly effects game performance :)
