KeePass vs Other Password Managers

Through bits and pieces, I gather that the two more common password managers are KeePass and Roboform. As I look at the comments, I'm steering towards KeePass but am not sure which version. Even looking at their comparison table is a little confusing. Here's what I would use it for; I have about 50 web sites and passwords and constantly go from my desktop to my laptop. Not looking for anything fancy, but am just tired of using a spreadsheet to look up the info. Any recommendations?

Through some other research I noticed that there are many other free password managers like Dashlane and Lastpass. I was wondering what others are using and why? Thanks for your input.

Keepass or Bruce Sheiner's Password Safe. Back up the database and encrypt that (not needed, but I do anyway) with 7Z and save multiple copies to different locations. Do this every time you add passwords. The database is in the main directory.

With the paranoia you have, I'm surprised you even use a computer.

Oh shut up. Why wouldn't you not want to backup your passwords?

You people are always harping me over basic crap. There's nothing wrong being security conscious. If the computer you had with Keepass crashes, well guess what? Your SOL aren't you? Backups!

And I go one further and store my clones in a fire proof safe.
