S sc_1004 New Member Oct 6, 2008 #1 Hi. I'm using IE7 and want to try the beta IE8, but I want to have IE7 available in case IE8 doesn't work with some software that I've got. Can IE8 be installed w/o over-writing IE7? Or will the install automatically replace the older version? thx

bm23 Active Member Oct 6, 2008 #2 i think it would overwrite IE7. at least it did when i upgraded from IE6. but you can always uninstall IE8 and go back to IE7.
