keeps disconnecting

hey guys i was wondering if you can help me my computer keeps disconnecting me form the internet every few minutes and im not sure how to stop it form doing it got any ideas?

Have you cleared your internet files?, looked for virus?

dial up can have power issues on the line. Ensure that
a) You phone cable is not excessively long (i doubt this since the amount allowed is pretty huge)
b) That you do not have too many items running on your phone line, you're normaly only allowed 4-5 things (phones, faxes, answer machines) running of one line before you run into issues
