Key Board Mystery

I have a Compaq Windows 7 computer. Sometimes when I type something on a search engine or I'm editing a website, it seems like some keys don't make contact. When I proof read it letters or numbers are missing. First I thought I just made some mistakes, but I payed close attention and it keeps happening. I got a new key board and it still happens even as I'm typing this.
