Keyboard key "stuck"

Hello! I was helping a friend out with a Logitech G15 keyboard yesterday, and he said the F1 key was stuck. So I plugged it in, and yes, it was stuck. It keeps pressing F1, non-stop, so the computer is unusable. I have tried opening the keyboard, but do not find anything that could cause the probem. Any idea?

The black plastic is either broke under the key or the rubber bumper that pushes the key back up is bad. Have you pried the key off to look under it?

Yes, I "popped" off the F1 key, it's actng just normal, not sticky like hard to press, but it is "stuck" non-stop...

Not much to do except blow it maybe. Ive had grand kids eat and drop crumbs and such in side. took a paper clip and made a tee handle and on the end used needle nose pliers then did a small 90 deg about a 1/16 or 1/8 then started pulling out keys. A can of air and Q-Swab's and started cleaning. Might try wetting the end of Q-Swab with a bit of Isopropyl alcohol. not soaked. and try cleaning. Maybe something sticky like a drop of pop or something fell inside. Likely so and could be if holding a can of pop and drip over the keyboard.
