keyboard problem (virus)?

Turned my computer on last night and went to log in and none of the keys work. Except if I hit sleep on the keyboard then the computer goes to sleep. When in sleep mode I can hit any button and it will come back on again. But once again when I go to log in the keyboard buttons don't do anything except sleep. Any advice thanks

If you have any other keyboards around try a different one and see if you have the same problem. If you dont have any around borrow one from a friend
