keyboard problem

HELP! My 3 year old pressed some key combination, and now when I press any of the keys on the right side of my keyboard I get the "fn" version of that key (i.e. J=1, K=2, L=3 etc). How can I get it back to normal?

I'm on a Dell Inspiron 2500.

use the function key in combination with some of the blue F1 keys. Not sure which on it is,but match the correct blue to the blue and it will unlock it

I've tried that too. Tried all the F1 keys in conjunction with the function key, and also tried every key on the keyboard that has blue on it. Nothing works! There's GOT to be a toggle key combination for this.
ANYONE know HOW I can get an answer to this? It's been days and I really need to get it fixed!!! There really ought to be a manual for key combinations for this computer/keyboard, but I find nothing in the control panel or in Help and support.

So frustrating that an answer to something like this can't be found

OMG - days and days of searching; I just found the numlock key - that was it! Geez, now I really feel stupid! Press it without the function key; that's it.
