Keyboard problem

I have the logitech media elite keyboard, and it is usb/ps2. I have it connected through usb right now.
I have two operating systems installed (xp and vista beta) and when it gives me the option of which one to boot, i cannot choose because my keyboard dosent respond.

The only way I have found to fix this is by pluging it into ps2.
Are there any other solutions??

Can you access your BIOS with the keyboard in the USB port? If not, leave it connected via the PS/2 port, get into your BIOS and enable USB Legacy keyboard support option. Save, exit, boot, shut down. Switch the keyboard to the USB port and try again.

If you still have trouble then you may need a piece of software called a Boot Manager. I remember reading about this in Maximum PC a while back; supposedly should solve this problem if the keyboard PS/2 or USB port issue is not the trouble.
