Keys for shortcuts / Popup blocking

i set up shortcut keys but could'nt use them.. for example i set up a key for one of my shortcut which came out to be CTRL+ALT+O , so i pressed them ( same as CTRL+ALT+DEL ) .. Nothing happend.. hows it supposed to work?

and if we allow a site to popup windows permanently , where these sites are added so that i can del/modify them

How did you go about making the keyboard shortcut and what is it that you are trying to use it for - for example to open a program?
What operating system are you running?

As far as the pop-ups question...
What pop-up blocker do you use? Is it the built-in Blocker in your browser? If so, what browser do you use?

I think he measn he assigned a short cut to open a program. If you right click an icon to open a program, and select properties.. there is a shortcut key option there.

Is this right?

I have dont this, and if you create the shortcut on the icon on yourdesktop, then copy it somewhere else, it wont work.

That's right. If you move the shortcut away from the desktop, the keyboard shortcut won't work anymore. If you want to, you can use the shortcuts pinned to the start menu or the ones under Start - "all programs". If you set up keyboard shortcuts with those, then you won't clutter your desktop, yet you will still be able to use them.
