I have a HP DV6000 with 4 GB of Corsair Value Select 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 667 (PC5300) RAM. I was wondering if I could put in 204 pin DDR3 Ram with an adapter.
2nd question: My OS is 32 bit Vista ultimate, why do i make the other GB or so of un-used ram be used for my integrated video card (NVIDIA GeForce 7150M/ nForce 630M)?

Sorry if these questions are answered in other posts, but i looked and couldn't find any.

Thank you .

No, you can't use ddr3 ram in that laptop, only ddr2 is compatible. If you are asking if you can assign the extra 1gb of memory to your integrated video card, you can't, unless there is an option in the bios to allow more memory usage to be used by onboard graphics. Check your manual or bios for help.
