KVM Switch?

Hello everyone. When I finish my new gaming pc, I will be using our HP LCD monitor that is hooked up to our home HP pc. I was going to use a KVM to switch from pc to pc. It would switch monitor input, keyboard, and mouse. I just wanted to ask if they cause any lag. My top resolution would be no higher than 1280 X 1140 or whatever its native resolution is. Thanks!

i've used Belkin KVM switches in the past and never seen or heard of them causing any lag. switches in general are not supposed to cause any interference in the transmission line as far as i know.

Ok, thanks. I just heard about some causing lag and slow response times, but maybe it was just their computers. Thanks!
