Lag even with good parts...

Hey, i bought new computer parts a couple of months ago and worked perfect until i switched monitor...

My specs are:
Intel i7 - 6700 3.40 ghz
16 gb Ram
Asus Geforce strix gtx 970 4gb

Monitor:
Samsung 24'' LED s24F352H
4ms grey to grey


Anyone might know what the issue is? i deleted the 970 video adapter and reinstalled it when i got the new monitor
 
Yeah sorry about that, its mostly a FPS issue, i used to rock 70-80 on ultra settings in world of warcraft for example. now i get 30-40 fps on medium settings if im lucky...
 
Probably not since there only one slot where the dvi cabel will fit, and i tried with hdmi and still the same resault
