Lag Problems.

Okay guys so I have an Alienware x51
Specs.
Processor: Intel i5 3.0 ghz
Ram: 4 GB
HD: 1 TB
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT 545 with 1.5 GB of Dedicated RAM

I have been able to play games like
ArmA 2
Planetside 2
Saints Row the Third
L4D

With no lag at all, and all of a sudden I am getting a massive amount of lag on all games. What is the problem and how do I fix it?
 
Check the temperature of your GPU and CPU. Take a can of compressed air and get rid off any dust, then update your graphics drivers and see if that solves it.

Might be worth checking for malware too.
