Laggy mouse?

As of today, my mouse has been lagging whenever it is dragged over something i.e. a textbox. I just noticed as well, when playing World of Warcraft, if I highlight someone or something with the mouse, it lags, as in the whole screen goes choppy.

Any idea what the problem is?

I have 2.25gb RAM, so I don't think it would be.

And it seems to have fixed itself this morning

my emachines ball mouse used to lag, then i got an optical mouse and it works like a dream. optical helps a lot.

well, im guessing then if you have 2.25gb of ram, then it wouldnt be the video card....
