I play oblivion and it works fine but when i kill those guys in the sewers(the ones attacking the king) and they die i get nasty lagg, like when they lose their armor and get their red cloaks..i thinks its the thing that looks like a shock wave thats giving me lagg...also when i go berserk and i get kinda red it gets lagg..:mad: anyone know why>?
 
You need a better computer, if your playing online, you may need a better internet conenction.

You may also want o update your drivers.
 
no but it only happens for a little while than it goes back to normal..+ its not an online game

the more things going on in the game the more graphics power needed to play oblivian you need at least a gig of ram and a 6800gt anything less than this and you will struggle with the lag havin said that try turning the graphics down in the options also make sure you turn off any background programs that arent needed
 
as meanman says, try turning the graphics down to its lowest settings, its still looks pretty decent on that.

I havent had a problem with it on my system so long as the settings are low
 
Turn the resolution to the lowest. Turn the refresh rate up on the monitor, to the highest (normal mode).
