Lan Over Internet [Help]

is there any programm to be able to play a game on lan mode over the internet ?. i tried the deafult xp programm that has in network connections .. but i didnt made it :/ .. so if there is a programm would be a lot easier

Do you use a router? If you have a Linksys you can setup the VPN

Why do you need to setup a lan? cant u just use the internet and start a game that way?

no nfsu2 doesnt have a direct ip option... i dont have a router..
andi found a programm to help me ..
i made a connection with me and my friends pc .. i open the game go to LAN i see the game that my friend made .. i click to connect and it stays there :?:
