I'm not sure I follow you, you can program GUIs in most compiled languages.
C++, Java, VB, C#, C, ect.
You could even do it in Assembly.
What are you trying to accomplish?

I don't follow me either.
I suppose I want to learn a language but don't know what to learn. I want it to be a practical language and one that could be helpful.
I suppose C++ would be good enough.

im editing now to say what im really thinking.
years ago i had an interest in machine but the
computers have gone a long way since. The programs were
smaller then and right now. A lot i think were written in 'C'
and the routines were written in assembly. Then on the other
hand the support languages have become very large and sloppy.
Huge programs and requires large memory. besides slow in comparison
to machine language.
