hi could anynone recommend me a good security software for my Laptop?

I and working from home so I need to have security against viruses and data loss

I have Avast but It´s running slow my programs, Im testing now ZenOK.com and Avira

Any suggestions?

Avast and Avira are very good programs. Using them myself on different Windows installations.

Avast is good, im using AVG.....but i recommend Microsoft Essential

AVG will hog your computer and it has other issues as well.

Antivirus

Comodo Antivirus is a really good program. and it's free, I use it on my laptop and desktop and haven't had any problems. Best thing it doesn't bog down your system. They also have an Internet Security Suite for a really reasonable price.

Avast is good, im using AVG.....but i recommend Microsoft Essential

Security essentials is ace, use it on all my machines. Doesnt check POP emails though I dont think.

Bitdefender is supposed to be good too.

As for data loss, back up daily to an external drive then worse case is you need to format your laptop and you still have your data safe
