Laptop Advice?

What laptop should i buy?...my budget is roughly 2000
are sony viao's good?..that was a choice of mine

Sony Vaio are abit overpriced for me, you pay for the brand more than the hardware. Check out dell, they seem to have some pretty good laptops, but if you want a gaming one then stay away from them.

I think IBM thinkpad or Lenovo is also a good notebook, with 2 gran you should be able to get a good one

Lenovo bought IBM already. I just think that Lenovo is a developing company, so I think Dell is better.

what are you going to be doing with it, gaming, school? Anyone with a 2k budget I recommend the ASUS G1S

I personally dont trust DELL PC, dont fell secure using their PC or notebook.
Rather use Acer than Dell
