I'm having a LAN party with some friends in a few days, but it's come to our attention that the guy whose router we usually use might not be there. However, a friend of mine said that there was a way to turn a computer into a router using Linux, then just connect it to a switch (which we have). I haven't been able to find anything quite yet, and have run out of ideas on where to look. Does anyone know anything about this? Thank you in advance!
Oh, and here's what we have in terms of networking:
Enough computers for the users (running Vista and XP)
1 Extra laptop with Ethernet Port running XP
1 21 port switch
1 5 port switch
A lot of Ethernet Cables
