Which is the better laptop for multitasking and gaming, looking to use for gaming such as wow, internet browsing, vmware virtualization.

id say get the asus, just from a build quality standpoint, i dont trust gateway... sister had a gateway laptop and after a year the motherboard failed on it, and we could not get it serviced without paying an arm and a leg
 
Yeah I know ive owned hp laptops in the past and the quality is not too bad, but I know what you mean, theres not much in the options for laptops however unfortunately besides alienware, which is overpriced junk most of the time.

I agree.

I had a gateway and it broke in 4 days after purchase!
 
Don't buy Gateway. Trust me, as I have dealt with thousands and thousands of Gateways. My old job and current job we have tons of them at work. I hate them, they break, they aren't quality builds.

Asus on the other hand is quality and they are also a manufacturer.
 
Thanks i appreciate it, yeah after some research i found it is the better laptop, is there anything better on the laptop gaming side for 720.00?
