Laptop c2d overclocking?

just wondering if its safe or even possible for me to over clock the processor on my laptop

It depends which laptop you have, but any from HP, Sony, Compaq, etc, and most Dell's can not be overclocked. Dell has a few of their XPS models that have an unlocked version for the C2D, but other then that and custom built you're out of luck.

Even if you could, I wouldnt recommend raising the voltage because of how much heat they will produce.
