Laptop charging Strange Problem

I have Dell D410 notebook laptop. since last 3 days i am facing a problem. My laptop Showing this kind of error at Battery info in Bios setup
" AC Adapter = Unknow device installed "

What should i do. Because when i trun off the windows the charger is working fine and charging 100% correctly. Even when i start windows its still charging in windows But when i unplug the adapter of power fails and when i restore the power to my laptop than its not strats the charging.

So please experts solve my problem.

One of the components of your PA-10/12 has failed and your machine cannot properly detect the AC adapter. You'll have to get a new one. Just be sure to go with a genuine Dell adapter.
