I have this laptop which wokrs well, but sometimes when I have used it for quite a long time, it chrases. Which of course is quite irritating as I sometimes forget to save what I am working on, and so I lose it.
But why does this happen is it because they computer is overheated, and cannot run anymore.

Could be overheating, this is a bit of a "dur" question but your not running that thing off the batteries right?

What type of processor is it? I had a friend who has an AMD somethin or another, and after about an hour of UT04, it'd crash because of overheating. So...depending on processors, and the openness of your air flow...

I do not quite know what processer is in it and about the batterie sometime it does and sometimes it is support by a power supply.

Right click on your "My Computer" and go to Properties to identify your processor.

How old is your laptop? And how much RAM MEMORY does it have?

Next time, try using it on your laptop until it shuts down. If it gets really hot, it can be because of overheating..
