Laptop comparison

I am going to be making a budget gaming system within the next month but I also want something that I can take with me. I've been looking around and I don't want something too big but I also don't want something small. I was looking at the netbooks but i'm worried that it will be underpowered when it comes to watching videos and doing multiple tasks at the same time. I've seen the newer dual core netbooks but they are priced around the same as an older laptop. What would be a better choice? Going with an older used dual core laptop from my local craigslist or maybe an open box from tigerdirect or newegg or dishing out the money for the netbook. I'm not so sure what I should begin to look so any help is appreciated. Looking for something portable that I can still do some light gaming on...all games on the laptop will be played on low/medium-low settings unless i go with the g51 in which case i can do medium-high/high settings? Mostly going to play WoW, Fable 3, and maybe ffxiv
 
I think i'm going to go with the g51...even though it's not going to be a desktop replacement it's still a laptop that has enough power if I ever want to play any games on the road and it's not too big either
