Laptop cooling pad

My DELL Inspiron 1425 seems overheating recentlly, when I used the laptop about 1 hour, it become hot and I have no idea of this situation. My friend suggest me to buy a cooling pad. Anybody can tell me if it works? And where to find cool and cheap cooling pads? Thank you!

But if your laptop gets extremly hot, then I would contact dell. Because I used to have a dell laptop and it got really got, I contacted dell and they said it was a cooling problem; so I sent it in for replacement.

Id suggest cleaning out your fans before purchasing a cooling pad. Can use canned or compressed air to clean it with.
