Hi guyz, my first post here, would like to hear the advise from one of you if possible.
I'm a music producer and recently i started to have an issue with my laptop.
The main software i use is Cubase SX 3, by it self it takes +- 100K from the processor usage, the software began to freeze every time i play the song, it cracks, i tried everything, then i tried to check temperature and bang, Cores are running around 90C when Cubase is opened.
Now my questions is, is 90C high enough to damage the Core and make it's functionality faulty?
Below 90C around 50/60 it plays ok the track, not perfect.
Computer is a DELL Latitude D620 1GB RAM, HD 80 Processor INTEL centrino duo 1.66GHz.
That's it fellas, if someone can give me a light would be great.
I'm gonna change this laptop soon but would like to understand this thing about temperature and fans.
Cheers!
