Hi

My laptop is not connecting to the wireless router. After typing in the correct securtiy code i get a message saying ' windows cannot connect to Belkin..'

I have connected using this laptop before, and my second laptop connects too.

Any suggestions?:(

Try deleting the existing wireless connection and set it back up, sometimes it just gets corrupted.

I gave my daughter about 5 yrs ago a Toshiba 17" laptop. Said it would not connect. She said keep it and wants wireless. My grand daughter said she wanted it. I was looking at a key that looked like a wireless. Pressed it and BAM. the wireless worked. My guess she was wiping the keyboard and pressed the key and turned it off. I said I will send back to daughter. Said its ok, Give to the grand daughter. Done deal.
just a thought. look at the manual. might be your problem. Might want to try resetting the wireless card. Had tried that when visiting. Take the card out and pop back in after cleaning connections. She got a nice laptop i paid 1,700. was older though. sweet deal for someone.
