i did try speed fan and it was giving the same kinda thing..
it says HDD29
temp1 51C (flame)
temp2 54C(flame)
i am folding right now but thats the only load that its got

i wouldn't use any of that, but instead intel's thermal analysis tool. i think that will be your most accurate. but 50 is probably right for a laptop. i don't have any clue actually, i would just assume that sounds right given that laptops have poor cooling, airflow, etc...

The core temps on speed fan are sometimes 15C lower than the actual temp, this would agree with everest. I guess your laptop just runs really hot.

well if thats what speedfan does then yea it would make sence... im DLing the thermal tool and im oging to see what it says...i mean yea i guess it can run hot and it hasnt given me any problems as of yet so i dunno:d

well it looks like they are hovering around 70 each

while looking around everest i noticed the over clock tap, is it possible to OC with everst or is it more just telling you the speeds of everything?

just taking a stab at this, but with core temps of 70C, i really don't think you want to be OC'ing your processor :)
