Sorry, I'm pretty ignorant about laptop computers. My question is do they all have some standard means of attaching an expansion card?
Specifically, I want to buy one to use exclusively as a digital audio workstation for recording. I will need to have a firewire interface to get the job done. Do all laptops have the ability to attach an interface of this type? Also, do these computers have some sort of audio output that can be amplified by external equipment? Thanks for any insight.
