the first one. The intel processor is more efficient. The quad is slightly slower, unless you disable the HT, which Acer locks on.
You will get better performance form the i5 than the phenomII.
 
the first one,no dout.even though the second one has slightly better integrated graphics, and weighs about 2 pounds less, the first one has more HDD space, better CPU, battery last longer and you get better resolution.
