hi, im new here and my name is Sean and I could use some advice from you just about now!
ok just hours ago, my other better laptop got broken... the screen light went DEAD BUt i still saw it's displaying with no light! BARELY see anything!
Out of curiosity and stupidity... I then attempted fix it by taking the thing apart, now IT WON'T EVEN START WHEN I PRESS POWER!. THE PROBLEM is I need the program and infor on that OTHER LAPTOP NOW!
This old laptop won't accept that new one HARDDRIVE!!! The output port on it is different!
I can't afford to buy another laptop right away, SO PLEASE TELL ME HOW I CAN ACCESS THAT HARDDRIVE from this old one I'm using!
I believe there is some kind of a device where i can access that harddrive by using USB port connecting to this old laptop im using.
I have a website and I make money online, so this is important! please help me.
Thank you
Edit: That broken laptop was an Asus A8J series.
Edit: I have done some research and found out about the USB enclosure, BUT the problem is that the HD from my broken Asus output thing (the part you plug in) have only 1 row of those "holes" ... I'm afraid it won't fit into the USB enclosure! as it look VERY different and I know it wont
