Laptop HD DVD drive

is the connector on the back of a laptop hd dvd drive the same as the connector on the back of a laptop dvd drive? also if i plug an hd dvd drive into my laptops disk drive port that came with a regular dvd drive, will it work?
and, what is the cheapest price i can get a laptop hd dvd drive for? and are there any blu-ray ones available or does anyone know where i might find one?

they are if you get it for your computer but i think they are different else wise. However yes they do make bly ray and hd ones for laptops if your willing to spend 1,000$
