Laptop HDD extension cable?

I don't move my laptop around a lot and would prefer the HDD to be easily accessible for swapping. Is there a sort of SATA extension cable that would allow the HDD to sit outside of the laptop?

(Btw, I thought of getting a $10 HDD caddy from eBay to sit in the optical drive bay, but those things aren't very reliable).

why you say that,reed the reviews on this cheap one and you see many people are satisfied,besides there is nothing more then the connections on it,is like buying a cable nothing more,except you can easily take it out if you want to use the DVD,if you are worried about the quality just buy a better one.
