hi,

i tried to record stuff yesterday with my guitar...
now, the quality was not very good, so went to menu > sound > record,
and set the quality on studio quality. (96000 Hz studio quality)
now, everytime i try to record something, my laptop stucks, and also when i want to go back to the tab record, my laptop stucks. (This happens with my built-in mic, as well with my external mic)

is there any other way to set this back on standard settings ??? or is there an other solution for this problem ???

Thx !
jef

p.s. sorry for my english, (from belgium)

maybe some specs of my laptop:
it's an acer 5920g-602g25hn,
it has dolby 5.1
sound card: realtek

hi,

how do i have to do this ?? Because, when i just click the tab record, my computer freezes, and i can't do nothing more ...

You're BIOS is probably locked, thus no option to restore defaults, but as oscar mentioned, at least try to see if it's possible. You could also try uninstalling the sound card drivers, updating the drivers, or even removing the sound software (if applicable). and reinstalling it.

i'm probably going to update the drivers and report if it worked or not,...
if anyone has some other solutions, please (really) give your opinion.

Jef
