Hi!
I don't know the cause of this problem and tht stuff but i suspect it is a virus:confused:.
I have two users on it - One admin (Me) and One regular user
I can not access some software like adobe, skype and itunes but the other user can!
It says several different errors but the one that I remember at the moment is "Windows installer is not working" or something like that and another is "the current file is not availiable". I'm confused and i'm not quite of a computer genius though i am quite good... im quite young too so yeah... :gun:
Also they dont let me uninstall some programs like Adobe Reader 9 and iTunes
I've got some suggestions like:
-make another admin, tranfer my stuff on to that and then delete my account
-back up all my things and then rebooting my computer (ill need a HUGE external hardrive D:)
-take it to a technician and pay some money for it getting it fixed (i dont wanna do this cause they might not be able to fix it!)

Can anyone please suggest something? Or if you have a way to fix it, please tell me! Thx in advance (cause im not on ma comp and ill only log in at this time )
My brother is hopeless too  so tht doesnt help things

(:

Well, if you are able to get internet access then download and run these programs and provide me with the logs and i'll tell you if your problem is malware related.

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here, here, here or here and save it to your desktop.
  • Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
  • At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to
    • Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
    • and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
  • then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select Perform quick scan, then click Scan.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • A log will be saved automatically which you can access by clicking on the Logs tab within Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

If you continue to experience problems after doing this, please post a HijackThis log by doing the following:

Download the HijackThis installer from here.
Run the installer and choose Install, indicating that you accept the licence agreement. The installer will place a shortcut on your desktop and launch HijackThis.

Click Do a system scan and save a logfile

Most of what HijackThis lists will be harmless or even essential, don't fix anything yet.

Post the logfile that HijackThis produces along with the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware log
