Laptop help.

I want to restart my entire computer system, but I don't know how. I'm going back to college soon and I want my computer to be free of bugs, old and unused programs, undetected viruses, etc. I have all the CD's that I had when I first purchased my laptop and now all I need are instructions.

So what you want to do is reinstall windows? thats what is sounds like. well you boot to the windows cd and follow the directions from there.

look for the windows cd and put it in. boot from the cd rom drive first. you change the boot order either in the bios or from the boot menu by using one of the function keys. mine is f12. then follow the instructions.
 
find the boot cd also known as the backup cd that came with your laptop and insert into the computer. you can also boot from the cd drive in the startup options
