Laptop in a desktop computer

Hi, I have a question. I bought a really good laptop about 3 years ago. My laptop have a Intel core I7-3630 QM CPU @2.40 GHz and a NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M. My question is, can transfer my graphic card and my processor in a desktop computer to upgrade it? I already have a desktop computer but the processor and the graphics card is not that good.

Thanks,
Jeremy

I believe you will have an optimus NVidia set up anyway, as I have the same "card" on a laptop.

If it is, then it is not even a graphics card anyway, just a little coprocessor for the Intel CPU.

You can buy a laptop dock and pretend it's a desktop :D

Otherwise what you had in mind won't work. What kind of PC do you have? Most laptop parts trail behind their desktop counterparts by a significant margin.

You can hook your laptop with monitior, keyboard and mouse.

what spec with your desktop?
You can sell your laptop to fund the upgrade...
