I was thinking about getting this laptop

Are the laptops from ibuypower reliable? They only have a 1 year warranty available and was wondering if they will last me my 4 years in college. I don't need a really good laptop but the ibuypower laptop shown seems to me a really good price. With that video card most games should be played with no problem. Just wondering about the processor but that would make it 920. I was thinking about getting a used thinkpad but those have really bad video cards. I was just wondering what makes thinkpads so good? If you guys have any other suggestions for laptops that are durable, reliable and have a long battery life that would be great.

My sister used a sony vaio for 5 years of college work before she bought her mac. And I'm still using the sony for internet browsing, and word documents, etc...

I just bought a new acer I should see next week. 5315-2808 from newegg.com

Ibuypower is a computer company that is well-known by gaming laptop enthusiasts. However, if you want it to last four years, it only has a 160gb hard drive. And what makes a thinkpad so good is their strength and build quality. Thinkpads have the best laptop keyboards, no question. They have metallic roll cages, and holes on the bottom of their laptops to prevent spills. Also, the thinkpad T61p from Lenovo (lenovo bought IBM's laptop line), has a graphics card the same as the 8600.
