Laptop keeps disconnecting

Hi everyone, I'm not great with the technical side of laptops so was hoping for some help.

My laptop continuously (every minute or two) disconnects from our wireless internet and to reconnect it I either have to restart the laptop or turn off the wireless detector then turn it back on again. It's not the router itself because other laptops in the house are fine so it must be my laptop. Was just wondering if it's a software issue or does the laptop itself need to be repaired.

Hi are using windows 2000? if you are then I know the problem

what Operating System are you using, try to advoid third party wireless software, use the Windows wireless software

Nope Vista. And I am using the windows wireless software...I think :o
