Laptop LCD to Stand alone Monitor

Hi,

I have an old HP ze5360ea laptop of which the motherboard shorted out and started smoking! i have since got a newe laptop and was thinking about using the LCD screen from that laptop as a stand alone monitor on my desk at home.

I was just wondering if any of you guys know if it is possible to buy an adapter or something to get this done?

If not, i'll just have to sell it as a spare on ebay!!!!!

I just skimmed your post so I hope I didn't miss anything... But basically, the whole process of changing an LCD to a standard monitor is much more trouble that it's worth, and typically costs as much or more than just purchasing a LCD!
