laptop memory

hey guys, i'm thinking about upgrading my memory from 3gb to 4gb in my acer aspire 4530, after looking on newegg i found a bunch of different memory that would work, but one stick particularly states that its "Auto and self refresh capability RoHS Compliant" with my specific laptop. I'm not too sure what RoHS is, but doesnt all memory self refresh? Does anyone know if this is worth getting over another stick that doesnt say that? heres the stick in case you were wondering.

What do you use your laptop for that you think you need more memory? What OS are you using? If you don't game or use memory demanding apps then you don't need to.
 
im using vista and i game, i know i dont NEED to upgrade my memory but i WANT to lol. so... anybody have any idea about the Auto and self refresh capability or what RoHS Compliant is?
 
yeah you're right guys i wouldn't get a whole lot more performance out of 4 gigs than im getting from 3 and i probably wont buy it, but im still curious to know about the Auto and self refresh capability and the RoHS Compliant thing.
