Laptop Motherboard Suggestion?

Hello.

I am considering upgrading to a newer motherboard in my laptop. Currently I have a Compaq Presario 1200 laptop, which features an amazingly fast Intel Celeron 700mhz processor (sarcastic of course).

I'm thinking about upgrading the motherboard to a newer one to support a faster processor.

Do you think upgrading to a newer motherboard [in a laptop, specifically this one,] will be easy?

Also, does anyone have any recommendations, specifically for this model laptop?

I personally not aware of selling laptop motherboard alone. It usually sell as a barebone kit...

"These motherboards are very specific to each make and model notebook. You cannot interchange these boards or upgrade any notebook with them. They are meant as a direct replacement."
